EMIRATES FASHION WEEK® INTRODUCES CRUISE 2027 AS IT EXPANDS GLOBALLY

ARAS NANCY

Emirates Fashion Week® is entering a new phase of international expansion with the introduction of Cruise 2027, a newly announced global showcase set to take place from 29 – 31 July 2026. As the platform grows beyond regional boundaries, the next edition will take a more international format, featuring collaborations with partners worldwide, virtual fashion experiences, and global creative participation. Hosted in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Emirates Fashion Week® has become known for bringing together luxury fashion designers, emerging talent, fashion media, buyers, models, influencers, celebrities, and industry professionals from across the GCC, Middle East, Asia, Europe, and international markets. Officially organized by Conseil International de la Mode, the platform focuses on runway showcases, contemporary fashion, creative innovation, and international industry connectivity.

The Cruise 2027 launch reflects a more globally aligned direction for the platform. In the luxury fashion industry, Cruise collections are closely associated with international fashion houses, destination showcases, resort-inspired aesthetics, and transitional collections presented between major fashion seasons. The format has become increasingly important within the global fashion calendar, especially among luxury and contemporary brands.

With Cruise 2027, Emirates Fashion Week® plans to expand its international reach through digital showcases, cross-border collaborations, and wider international media visibility. The upcoming edition will offer designers and creative professionals the opportunity to connect with global audiences through both physical and virtual experiences.

Alongside its runway platform, Emirates Fashion Week® also continues to expand its editorial presence through EFW Times, the official Emirates Fashion Week® magazine based in Dubai, covering luxury fashion, runway trends, designer interviews, celebrity style, fashion industry news, and international fashion coverage.

The expansion further strengthens Dubai’s growing position within the global luxury fashion industry while opening a broader international chapter for Emirates Fashion Week®. With its evolving global format and expanding international reach, Cruise 2027 aims to build stronger connections between designers, fashion media, creative professionals, and worldwide fashion audiences.

As Emirates Fashion Week® continues its international expansion, the platform remains focused on strengthening its global creative presence through runway showcases, editorial storytelling, visual innovation, and international fashion collaborations. With Cruise 2027 marking the beginning of a new global chapter, Emirates Fashion Week® continues to connect designers, fashion media, creative professionals, and worldwide audiences through a more internationally driven fashion experience. Designer registrations for Cruise 2027 are now open through the official Emirates Fashion Week® website.
